Qualifications
|
| REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED. Applicant must pass a physical assessment, complete background check, and a psychological exam with the Riverton Police Department. All applicants must also take an entry level exam regardless of experience. Applicant must be currently certified with the Wyoming Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) Commission or have the ability to obtain certification with not more than 87 hours of academic instruction within one (1) year. |
Special Training/Skills Desired
|
| PRIMARY DUTIES: Security service within School District #25 schools, aiding and assisting the schools in emergency preparedness, individual and group counseling, assistance with coordination of extracurricular activities on school grounds, and conducting law related educational classes within the schools. |
Compensation
|
| SALARY: The pay range for this position is $17.05 to $22.16 per hour and includes the City of Riverton benefit package which includes health insurance and retirement.
